Birding report at Kasai Rinkai Park

I participated in "Bird Walk at Kasai Rinkai Park for English Speakers" by WBSJ(Wild Bird Society of Japan). We couldn't find any flycatchers, but we were able to find some shore birds. Especially, Far Eastern Curlew was the best. Usually, curlew is so "far". But today's curlew was very near. It was lucky. And... I walked around for a while after the Bird Walk, then I was able to see a Common Snipe. I like Common Snipes. I think they're so beautiful. Then, I heard some Oriental Reed Warblers calling, but I couldn't find. 野鳥の会の葛西臨海公園英会話探鳥会に参加。せっかくなので拙いながら英語で書いてみました。 ヒタキ系は皆無だったけどシギチがいくつか。特にいつもは遠いホウロクシギが近くで見られた。 探鳥会後、一人でうろうろしてるとタシギが出てきてラッキー。タシギきれいなので好き。 オオヨシキリの声が聞こえたのでまだいることは確認できたが姿は見られなかった。
